Betty Mae (Coop) Karr Obituary (1939

Betty Mae (Coop) Karr was born June 23, 1939 and departed this life on January 18, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Duane Karr, her parents William and Lillian Coop, her brothers Jack, Eddie, and Billy and her treasured aunts Stella, Jessie, and Doris Ann. She is survived by her son David, his wife Jill, and her granddaughter Stella. She is also survived by her uncle Wendall Davis and his wife Marie, aunt Joyce Pharris, and her many cousins, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly and thought of often. Betty will be fondly remembered by her many friends she made during her life in Louisville. Among them, Shirley Oller, Barbara & Richard Miller, Ann Maney, Rae Fisher, Ken Fisher, Dot Weber, Betty Dawson, and Edie Pelham were especially dear to her throughout her life. Their lunches were truly a gathering of kindred spirits. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, Kentucky. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, Kentucky. A reception will follow the burial at United Methodist Church in Stanford, Kentucky.
