Junior Clay Ashley Obituary (1946 - 2022)

Junior Clay Ashley, 75, of Eubank, KY passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 9, 2022. Born on September 17, 1946 in Eubank, KY to the late Luther and Geneva Howson Ashley. Junior was a mechanic for most of his life. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing and being in the woods. He was of the Christian Faith. Survivors include eight children, Christopher Ashley of Eubank, Shannon Ashley of Lexington, KY, Robbie Ashley of Somerset, KY, Michael Ashley of Georgia, Rosemary Stull of Kings Mountain, KY, Beverly Gill of Kings Mountain and Bonnie Stull of Kings Mountain; two brothers, Dallas Ashley and Lester Ashley; three nieces, Courtney Ashley, Tammy Thomas and Sherry Vogel; and six nephews, Waylon Ashley, Cody Ashley, Greg Ashley, Scott Ashley, Kevin Ashley and Jimmy Ashley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Geneva Ashley; and one brother, Janis Vernon Ashley. A one-day service has been scheduled for Friday, June 17, 2022 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Bethelridge Cemtetery.
