Dewey Tapp Obituary (1957 - 2021)

Dewey Tapp, 63, of Stanford, KY passed away in Lexington, Kentucky on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. Born on August 3, 1957 in Stanford, KY to the late Charles Tapp and Pauline Stringer Tapp. He was a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his brother, Douglas Tapp (Patricia) of Lancaster, KY; one nephew, Michael Tapp (Stacy); and one niece, Melissa Tapp; and several cousins. A one-day service has been scheduled for Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Johnny Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, KY. Active Pallbearers are Jason Sheron, Michael Tapp, Jerry Phelps, Dickie Phelps, Stanley Stringer, and Troy Phelps.
