Eullas Herbert Jacobs Obituary (1925

Eullas Herbert Jacobs, 92, of Russell Springs, KY passed away at home on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Born July 12, 1925 to the late Ernie Jacobs and Ocie Faw, he was a Navy Veteran who served in WWII, he graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, and worked as a Soil Scientist for Soil Conservation Service for 27 years. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Betty Louise Blanton Jacobs of Russell Springs, KY; three sons, Michael Neal Jacobs of Manitou, KY, Steve Edward Jacobs (Melanie) of Mays Lick, KY, and Barry Eullas Jacobs (Sue) of Versailles, KY; one daughter, Susan Renee Jacobs of Russell Springs, KY; one brother, Clealus Jacobs (Francis) of Somerset, KY; one sister, Lynetta Hensley of Indianapolis, IN; six grandchildren, Bryan, Brandon, Eric, Katie, Sarah, and Elizabeth; one great-grandchild, Ellery; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dallas Jacobs; and one sister, Leuna Reynolds. Pallbearers will be Michael Jacobs, Steve Jacobs, Barry Jacobs, Bryan Jacobs, Brandon Jacobs, Eric Jacobs, and Larry Hacker. Visitation will be Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral Service will be Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 12 p.m. with Bro. Fred Calkins officiating. Burial will follow at Parlor Grove Cemetery in Waynesburg, KY.
