Fran M. Walls Obituary (1959 - 2018)

Fran M. Walls, 58, of McKinney, KY passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford. She was born December 15, 1959 in Liberty, KY to Boyd and Lela Luttrell Hoskins of Liberty, KY. She was a 1978 graduate of Casey County High School, an employee of American Greetings Inc. of Danville for 38 years, and a member of Green River Pentecostal Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and mammie. Frandawg was passionate about serving in her church and community, and spending time camping; always providing her famous chili dogs and peanut butter brownies. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ricky Walls of McKinney, KY; two sons, Derek Walls (Brooke) of Kings Mountain, KY, and Kasey Walls (Christi) of McKinney, KY; two grandchildren, Addie and Layne Walls both of Kings Mountain, KY; two sisters, Carol Simpson (Mike) of Danville, KY, and Jill Spaw (Kevin) of Liberty, KY; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marlow Hoskins. Visitation will be Friday, March 23, 2018 from 5-9pm at Green River Pentecostal Church. Funeral service will be 1pm Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the church with Reverend Rick Naylor officiating. Burial will follow at New Salem Cemetery in New Salem, KY. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to American Cancer Society (1504 College Way, Lexington, KY 40502). Spurlin Funeral Home, Stanford is in charge of the arrangements.
