Francis Greer

Francis Braunm Greer, 80, of Kings Mountain, KY passed away at home on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Born on August 8, 1945 in Tateville, KY to the late Tom Braunm and the late Mary Hall Braunm. She is the widow to the late Herman “Buck” Greer.

Survivors include three children, Iva Dean Greer of Indiana, Norma Jean Kocher (Billy) of Waynesburg, KY and Lisa Ann Kilby (Freddie) of Kings Mountain; three siblings, Shirley Hall of Waynesburg, Darlene Hetzler (Steve) of Ohio and Joe Braunm of Ohio; seven grandchildren, Janafer Denson, Michael Barnett, James Kocher, Heather Lanham, Rachel Floyd, Charles Petrey and Dillon Wilson; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Mona Reed Moberly; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman “Buck” Greer”; parents, Tom and Mary Braunm; one son, David Lynn Greer; eight siblings, Jesse Braunm, Mack Braunm, Fred Braunm, John Braunm, Lloyd Braunm, Margaret Sharp, Molly Crouch and Vinnie Rackley; and one grandson, Christopher Barnett.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 3, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Grace Fellowship Church in Stanford, KY.

A second visitation will be at Grace Fellowship Church on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Tom Graef officiating. Burial will follow at K.P. Hall Cemetery in Kings Mountain, KY.

Active Pallbearers are James Kocher, Michael Barnett, Hunter Denson, Donald Denson, Ricky Denson, Dillon Wilson, Richard Floyd and Wayne Greer.

Honorary Pallbearers are great-grandchildren.
