Franklin A. Miller

Franklin A. Miller, 76, of Danville, KY (formerly of Horseheads, NY) passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at Golden Living Center in Stanford. Born January 18, 1939 in Tonawanda, NY to the late Chester and Catherine Davis Miller, he was the widower of the late Vivian B. Miller, and a retired employee New York State Department of Transportation. He was a member of New Apostolic Church in Elmira, NY.

Survivors include two daughters; Christine Teeter of Horseheads, NY, and Amy Comfort (Edward) of Danville, KY, four step-sons, several brothers and sisters, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

A memorial service has been scheduled for 1pm Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the New Apostolic Church (90 Skylark Dr., Horseheads, NY 14845). A private family interment will be held at Scotchtown Cemetery in Erin, NY at a later date.

Spurlin Funeral Home, Stanford is in charge of the arrangements.
