Gerva Ann Jones Obituary (1953

Gerva Ann Jones, 62, of Stanford, KY passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 at home. Born June 17, 1953 in Stanford, KY to the late Kenneth and Catherine Peavler Davis, she was a homemaker for most of her life, and a member of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include three daughters; Donna Aldridge (Brian) of Stanford, KY, Nita Wilson (Roger) of Hustonville, KY and Diane Rogers of Brodhead, KY, three sisters; Carolyn Boyd of Stanford, KY, Streta Santos (Lewis) of LaGrange, KY, and Vicky Merrell (Jackie) of Lancaster, KY, six grandchildren; Sheldon Smith, Nelson Martin, Kelsey Martin, Jeffrey Alford, Brianna Wilson, and Austin Wilson, two great-grandchildren; Damian Edwards and Waylon Wilson, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother; R. Daniel Davis. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 5-9pm at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford. Funeral service will be 1pm Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the funeral home with Reverend Brad King officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Casket bearers will be: Roger Adams, Roger Wilson, Logan Boyd, Dylan Bishop, Austin Wilson, Chris Davis, Michael Smalley, and Sheldon Smith.
