Glenden Collier Edwards, beloved mother and grandmother, 75, of Stanford, KY died Wednesday, July 29, 2015. She was born in Bryantsville, KY to the late Douglas and Opal Williams Collier. She was a member of Bluegrass Baptist Church in Danville, KY. Survivors include a daughter, Rose Drakeford (John), of Stanford, KY. A brother David Collier, and two sisters, Betty Claunch and Doris Provence, two granddaughters, Rena Drakeford and Shelly Tillett, one great-granddaughter, Mckenzie Hounshell and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Wendell Ballard. A private family service will be held Friday, July 31, 2015 at Spurlin Funeral Home, Stanford.
