Helen Whatley

Helen Louise Tussey Whatley, 79, of Henderson, KY (formerly of Stanford, KY), passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Redbanks Nursing Home in Henderson, KY. Born on January 28, 1945 in Lancaster, KY to the late Leslie and Louise Tussey. She is the widow to the late Thomas Whatley. Helen was a singer for most of her life. She enjoyed spending time with people and was always a happy person.

Survivors include one daughter, Angie Johnson of Lancaster, KY, one son, Leslie Edward Coffey of Georgia; two grandchildren, Joshua Ragan and Brittany Cameron; and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Louise Tussey; and one brother, Henry Tussey.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
