Jacqueline Foley

Jacqueline Durham Foley, 91, of Stanford, KY passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. Born on December 18, 1932 in Stanford to the late Verda Popplewell Durham. She is the widow to the late Silas Raymond Foley.

Jacqueline bore her roles as wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker with extraordinary grace and strength. She found immense joy in nurturing her home and family, always making sure that love was the most prominent ingredient in every meal she prepared, every stitch she sewed, and every life she touched. Jacqueline loved embroidery, a hobby that not only showcased her artistic talents but also mirrored her life. Just like every thread meticulously woven into a beautiful pattern, she carefully crafted a life filled with love, patience, and perseverance. Jacqueline was a long-standing member of Waynesburg Church of Christ, and her faith was a guiding light throughout her life.

Survivors include one son, Raymond Wayne Foley (Shirley) of Stanford; one grandson, Jacob Wayne Foley; and one brother, Robert Durham.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Foley; parents, Willie and Verda Durham; one brother, Marion William Durham; and one sister, Gweneva Smallwood.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Waynesburg, KY, with Bro. Curtis Herrington officiating. Burial will follow immediately after service.
