Jenita Kidwell Obituary (1962 - 2020)

Jenita Kidwell, 58, of Highland, KY passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Ft. Logan Hospital in Stanford, KY. Born on August 13, 1962 in Lexington, KY to the late Vernon Houp and Clara Clayborn Houp. Jenita was a homemaker for most of her life. Jenita loved her two boys and grandkids more than anything. She enjoyed crotchet and making people smile. Being around family and friends brought her happiness in life. Survivors include her mother, Clara Clayborn Houp of Highland, KY; two sons, Tony Kidwell of Nicholasville, KY and Steven Kidwell of Nicholasville, KY; one brother, Bill Houp (Sherry) of Lancaster, KY; three grandchildren, Kalee Kidwell, Anthony Kidwell and Zayden Kidwell; two nephews, Matthew Houp and Dustin Houp; and her companion, Terry Lyons of Highland, KY. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Houp. Due to Covid-19 Regulations, all services will remain private. A one-day service has been scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY with Bro. Wendell Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Methodist Church Cemetery in Highland, KY. Pallbearers are Tony Kidwell, Bill Houp, Steven Kidwell, Terry Lyons, Matthew Houp, Anthony Kidwell, Robbie Houp and Jaime Cason. Honorary Pallbearers are Kalee Kidwell and Zayden Kidwell.
