Joyce Robbins

Joyce Ann Robbins, 78, of Lancaster, KY passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Born on February 24, 1948, in Harlan County to the late Norman Gamble and the late Edith Cornett Bowman. She was a wonderful and devoted mother who loved music, God and her family.

Survivors include her four children, Ricky Robbins (Patty), James Cameron (Debbie), Billie Shell and Lisa Dowell (Kenny); one brother, Bobby Gamble; companion, Rodney Owens; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by Robert Cameron; her parents, Norman Gamble and Edith Bowman; two children, Bobby Lee Robbins and Norma Jean Robbins; and four siblings, Patricia Baker, Jimmy Gamble, Glenda Wine and Brenda Gamble.

A one-day service will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. David Gambrel officiating. Burial will follow at Lancaster Cemetery.
