Judith "Judy" Helm Yocum Obituary (1939

Judith "Judy" Helm Yocum, 80, of McKinney, KY passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford. Born June 18, 1939 in Liberty, Kentucky to the late Ernest Helm and Mildred Lester Helm, she was a homemaker and a member of Green River Pentecostal Church. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Alphas Yocum of McKinney, KY; three step-daughters, Paula Phillips (John) of Harrodsburg, KY, Rita Brown (Russell) of McKinney, KY, and Susan Brown (Steve) of Hustonville, KY; one brother, Jim Helm (Gwen) of Liberty, KY; one sister, Jo Lynn Setser of South Carolina; one granddaughter, Jennifer Brown of McKinney, KY; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Misty Jenkins. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Green River Pentecostal Church from 5-9pm. Funeral service will be 1pm Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the church with Reverend Rick Naylor officiating. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Liberty, KY. Casket bearers will be: Russell Brown, John Phillips, Steve Brown, Lyndsey Yocum, Patrick Helm, and Steve Floyd. Honorary bearers are the nurses from Recovery III at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, and the nurses from Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford.
