Julia Anne Carter Obituary (1932

Julia Anne (Julie) died peacefully on January 29, 2017 at her home in Stanford, KY. Julia Anne attended Centre College and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Bacteriology. As a medical technologist, Julia Anne practiced her profession over 36 years, while also serving as a member of several professional organizations and a member/supporter of several animal humane societies. Julia Anne was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Earl and Elizabeth Carter and is survived by her family and a host of wonderful friends. The family wishes to thank all who extended the loving arms of Christ to Julia Anne during her lifetime--especially her final months. It was Julia Anne's desire to live out her life in the Stanford home she dearly loved, surrounded by her beloved dogs, and that would not have been possible without the excellent care and compassion of so many wonderful people in this community. We are forever grateful to you! A funeral service visitation is planned for Monday, January 30 from 11-1 in the chapel at Spurlin Funeral Home with a service at 1pm in the Spurlin Chapel. Burial will follow in the Carter family plot in Buffalo Springs Cemetery, Stanford, KY. A Memorial Mass at will be offered at a later date.
