Letha "Rach" Tillett Obituary (1944 - 2015)

Letha "Rach" Tillett, 71, of Stanford, KY went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. She was born March 24, 1944 in Stanford, KY to the late Henry and Carrie Naylor Brown. She was a faithful member of the Green River Pentecostal Church and was a pillar in the community. Survivors include her husband of 53 years; Tommy Tillett of Stanford, one son; Keith Tillett (Cindi) of Hustonville, four daughters; Kathy Caudill (Rodney), Teletha "Pojue" Trent, Janice Coleman (Steve), and Rhonda Smith (Keith) all of Stanford, one brother; Ersel Brown (Linda) of Hustonville, four sisters; Mae Azbill and Faye Tillett both of Hustonville, and Betty Lou Crowley (Frank) and Linda Martin (Morris Taylor) both of Stanford, twelve grandchildren; Brittany Carpenter (Steven), Brooke Walls (Derek), Sharon Todd (Jeremy), Keisha Harris (Jason), Tabitha Tillett, Kindra Wade (Kody), Austin Coleman (Samantha), Miranda Payton, Kelsie Smith, Luke Smith, Keisha Coleman (Jeremy), and Parker Richards, eleven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and countless others whom she adopted in the Spirit of Christ as her own children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Bill Brown and June Brown, and two sisters; Edna Brown and Margie Brown. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 5-9pm at the Green River Pentecostal Church in McKinney. Funeral services will be 1pm Thursday, August 13, 2015 at the church with Reverend Rick Naylor officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford. Casket bearers will be her grandchildren. Honorary bearers are: the members of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office and the Stanford Police Department.
