Mana Lucille Clay Obituary (1940

Mana Clay, 74, of Stanford, KY passed away July 11, 2015 at U.K. Chandler Medical Center in Lexington. Born September 14, 1940 in Lexington, KY to the late William and Rose Lawson Riley, she was a registered nurse for most of her life having worked for Craven, Good Samaritan, and Ephraim McDowell Hospitals. She was a member of Indian Hills Christian Church. Survivors include her husband of 42 years; Doug Clay of Stanford, KY, her three beloved dogs; Ellie, Little Bit, and Pepi, one son; Larry Clay (Darlene) of Live Oak, FL, one brother; William "Bill" Riley (Ruth) of Hazard, KY, one sister; Rosalie Ward of Lexington, KY, eleven grandchildren, two nieces, and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. A one day service has been scheduled for Friday, July 17, 2015 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm with funeral service beginning at 1pm. Reverend Larry Clay will officiate the service. Interment will be 10am Monday, July 20, 2015 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to Indian Hills Christian Church in Danville, KY.
