Ora Calfee

Ora Geraldine Chaney Calfee, 78, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Born on December 19, 1946 in Stanford, KY to the late Melvin Walter and Dora Wells Chaney.

Survivors include her husband, Mack Calfee of Port St. Lucie, FL; one daughter, Angela Davidson (Joseph) of Florida; three sisters, Arlene Fletcher, Betty Edwards and Phyllis Lawless; and two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Dora Chaney; one son, Melvin Wayne Calfee; and one brother, Thomas Walter Chaney.

A one-day service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at New Salem Cemetery in Hustonville, KY.
