Palmer L. Rogers Obituary (1966 - 2021)

Palmer Rogers, 54, of Stanford, KY passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 2, 2021. Born on September 14, 1966 in Crawfordsville, IN to the late Robert Lee Rogers and Cherry Alaine Mitchell Rogers. He was a Journey Lineman who worked for LE Meyers before his retirement. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, loved to play horseshoes, and ride motorcycles. Palmer was a member of Olive Baptist Church in Waynesburg, KY. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Dowell Rogers of Lancaster, KY; one daughter, Mary Johnson of Yosemite, KY; two brothers, Porter Rogers of Waynesburg, KY and Patrick Rogers of Waynesburg, KY; one sister, April McKee of Stanford, KY; three grandchildren, Treyden, Allison and Cordell; close friend, Jackie Ellison of Stanford, KY; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
