Ricky Allen Johnson Obituary (1961 - 2020)

Ricky Allen Johnson, 58, of Crab Orchard, KY passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 at U.K. Chandler Medical Center in Lexington. Born October 20, 1961 in Danville, KY to the late Melvin Johnson and Cora Ellen Stevens Johnson, he worked as a farmer for most of his life, and attended Faith Temple Church and Creekside Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Susan Johnson of Crab Orchard, KY; one son, Delmer Johnson of Crab Orchard, KY; one daughter, Alisha Oswald (Scott) of Cave City, KY; two step children, Jeremy Wilder of Danville, KY, and Savannah McKeehan of Waynesburg, KY; three brothers, Jerry Johnson (Trudy), Melvin Johnson (Priscillia), and Jeff Johnson (Louise); six sisters, Clara Swinney (Johnny), Patricia Randolph (Dave), Brenda Brock, Kathy Johnson (Gary), Connie Downs (Marcus Jenkins), and Mary Brock (Darrell); eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Lee Johnson; and three brothers, Delmer Johnson, Marvin Johnson, and Mike Johnson. Visitation will be Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford from 5-8pm. Funeral service will be 1pm Friday, May 29, 2020 at the funeral home with Bro. Roger Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford. Casket bearers are: Delmer Johnson, Shane Downs, Joe Preston, Dennis Johnson, Bill Fletcher, and Landon Fletcher.
