Tasha Brown, 36, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Baptist Health Paducah. She was born November 23, 1989, in San Diego, California, to the late Franklin Anness and the late Robin Hood.

Tasha Brown, a beloved wife, daughter, accomplished photographer, and an eternal student of life, passed away on January 11, 2026. Born in San Diego, CA, on November 23, 1989, she brought light and joy to every life she touched in her 36 years. Tasha had an infectious enthusiasm for life that drew people to her, and she had an uncanny ability to find beauty in the world around her, a talent she used to its full potential in her photography. Her photos were more than just pictures; they were stories told through the lens of her camera. She was not merely a passive observer of life, but an active participant, always seeking to learn, to grow, and to improve. She had an insatiable curiosity and a love for knowledge that was evident in everything she did. Whether she was exploring the great outdoors, capturing life's fleeting moments with her camera, or delving into a new subject to broaden her understanding.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Brown of Hustonville, Kentucky; four children, Jadon Wiser, Jace Wiser, Jaxon Duncan, and Timmy Lee Brown; and five siblings, Brandi, Frankie, Netesha, Daytha, and Sherri.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Franklin Anness and Robin Hood.

A one-day service will be held on Monday, January 19, 2025 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Jason Coulter officiating.
