Tommy Yocum, Sr. Obituary (1939 - 2021)

Tommy Yocum, Sr., 82, of Stanford, KY passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 in Danville, KY. He was born on April 24, 1939 in Lincoln County to the late Edward and Lizzy Reynolds Yocum. He was a member of Faith Temple in Jesus Name. Survivors include four sons, Jeff Yocum, Tommy Yocum, Jr., Danny Yocum and Mark Yocum; six daughters, Stacy Creech, Beverly Holt, Cindy Stagner, Sheila Lovell, Sherry Allen and Mary Lear; one sister, Rosie Scharbrough; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Stevens Yocum; four brothers, Billy Yocum, Jesse Yocum, Ellis Yocum and Marion Yocum; and one sister, Elvena Yocum. A one-day service has been scheduled for Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2:30 p.m. with Bro. Mark Yocum officiating. Burial will follow at Dix River Church of Christ Cemetery in Preachersville, KY.
