Velvet Aubin

Velvet Fields Aubin, 63, of Stanford, KY passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, KY. Born on September 28, 1961 in Louisville, KY to Charles and Patricia Duhamel Fields. She is a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Danville, KY. Velvet retired after many years of service as a Teacher's Assistant at Pulaski County Schools. She enjoyed square dancing, bowling, hiking and loved her grandchildren dearly.

Survivors include her loving husband, John Aubin; two children, Matt Chapin (Kayla) and Krystal A'Harrah (Jon); two step-children, Scott Aubin (Danielle Brinkley) and Donna Corjay (Richard); one brother, Charles Dewey Fields (Donna); one sister, Lori Bailey (Jerry); six grandchildren, Carson, Allison, Zachary, James, Julia and Dorothy, and one grandchild on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

A one-day service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 6:30 p.m. with Bro. Ralph Easterling officiating.
